No less than 9 vineyards are within 20 minutes drive and most welcome visitors and provide guided tours with tastings (although advanced booking is advisable as is a designated driver!)

The vineyard consists of Bacchus, Reichensteiner and Schonberger grapes for white wine production and Rondo and Dornfelder for red wine. The wine is made by Owen Elias, the winemaker at New Wave Wines,Tenterden, Kent. The current range comprises sparkling, dry and medium dry white, red, rose and dessert wine

Award-winning organic red, white and sparkling English wines, all grown and bottled at England's oldest organic vineyard, established 1979. A woodland nature trail forms part of the vineyard self- guided tour. Watch organic farming in practice and taste wine, juices, liqueurs, cider and beer.

Lamberhurst Vineyard, is one of the oldest vineyards in Kent. Established in 1972, it is set amongst 20 acres of outstanding beauty with views over Bayham Abbey.

A small family owned and run vineyard and winery using traditional methods and minimum intervention to produce handmade wines. All wines are produced traditionally by hand and are suitable for vegetarians or vegans and contain no genetically modified products.

David & Linda Carr Taylor established the vineyard, in the beautiful 1066 countryside just north of Hastings, more than 30 years ago and quickly gained international recognition for their award winning English wines. Varieties such as Chardonnay and Pinot Noir, as well as Bacchus, Kerner and Schonburger provide a magical blend of old and new flavours. Situated in the picturesque heart of rural Sussex, the vineyard also has its own traditional winery and visitor centre.
